Why We Started The Called Co.

The Called Co. was created with a simple resentment… We mean commitment to make high-quality chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue massage, and movement-based care actually accessible to our female veterans.

We believe healing should not be limited by barriers such as being “fully eligible” for benefits, needing multiple provider referrals, or having to step foot in the VA.

Care should meet us where we are

Our vision is rooted in service. We show up to provide care in Veteran spaces and at Veteran events because connection matters. Women veterans need more support. Right now we have one provider and a small team putting in all the work.

We are 100% grassroots.

This nonprofit was started by a Veteran who desperately needed this kind of care and couldn’t find it. After the VA wouldn’t take care of her (like they promised), she took her care into her own hands. After putting in years of school (and practice) she and her team are ready to make sure other Veterans are getting taken care of too. While researching the need of the veteran community, she found that a very large percentage of the women veterans who take their own lives, never even set foot in the VA. This is our way to reach that population.

The Called Co. fights female veteran suicide through targeted community outreach and hands-on healing. We help women veterans reclaim their bodies and minds through chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, and movement education.
